An Independent School for PreKindergarten through 8th Grade
Laura is a Kazoo School parent and Chair of the Education Committee. Laura is the Principal of Allegan Alternative High School and has been an educator for nearly twenty years. Laura has a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Secondary Education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a Master’s Degree in English Education from Western Michigan University, and a second Master’s Degree from WMU in Educational Leadership. Laura feels that choosing Kazoo School is one of the best decisions she ever made as a parent. Kazoo functions as a school family where every child is known and cared for and a place where curiosity and creativity are valued.
Staci M. Perryman-Clark
Staci is the associate dean of the Lee Honors College at Western Michigan University. She is also the 2015 recipient of the WMU College of Arts and Sciences Faculty Achievement Award for Excellence in Research, Scholarship, and Creative Activities, and the 2018 recipient of the College of Arts and Sciences Faculty Achievement Award for Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion. She has published several books, book chapters and articles on culturally relevant teaching practices and writing program administration.Staci is the parent of a Kazoo Kid. She is on the Education Committee.
