I was born and raised right here in southwest Michigan. I received both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Western Michigan University.

During college I had always been interested in teaching. Before coming to Kazoo School, I taught children in preschool-5th grade.  I have now been teaching at Kazoo School for over a decade. It is a privilege and a joy to teach at a school where students, parents and teachers are so involved and dedicated to a making learning come alive.  As a parent of two Kazoo School students, I see the love of learning they possess.

When not teaching, you can usually find me and my family boating, walking in the woods, ice-skating or on the little league fields and just enjoying all Michigan has to offer.
